Welcome to my Kitchen!!

My name is Samina Salman, with a nick name NEENA. I live in Islamabad with my small family of three. Though I am a Civil Engineer by Profession, baking & cooking is my hobby.

I was born in Rawalpindi to an army officer, I developed a strong foundation of discipline and adaptability from a young age. Being the second among my siblings, I got early years of education from across various schools in Punjab, completing matriculation and FSc in Rawalpindi. Soon after completing my Fsc. I decided to get professional degree in Engineering and joined University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila and graduated as a Civil Engineer in the year 1999. I did not get the chance to start my professional career until 2009 but that does not mean I was not doing anything!!! YES I was very much doing Some thing......and You are Right I was learning to bake on my own. My father and younger brother were my support in learning the science of baking. One was funding the hobby while other was not only the helping hand but was also the supplier of my early years in learning the professional baking on my own.

Since very young age I had the sense of spices and love to cook and serve food to my loved ones and the helped me alot to create new recipes in cooking and baking. As Daughter of a warrior I never had ever the fear of anything so I tried and tested many recipes and learned all the techniques to cook & bake successfully.

I got married in 2001 and soon was blessed with a beautiful baby girl in 2003. Not only I was on career break but it was resting time for my hobby too as I had important tasks to manage and do in new chapter of my life. I joined NESPAK Pvt Ltd , an Engineering Consultancy in 2009 and that was the time when my baking & cooking journey took a new turn as my colleagues forced me to bake or cook for them. Ten year later, in 2019 I finally launched my channel on you tube with the name " The Art Of Cooking By Neena". Soon after this launch I started taking orders for Customized Cakes and Cookies, Brownies and breads. Five years since I have many valuable clients and new friends.

......Now I have taken a step further and launched this simple website with the support of my daughter.
