Cookies N Cream Brownies

Ingredients for Cream Cheese Layer

  • 225 gm Cold Cream Cheese

  • 1/4 Cup Caster Sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla

Method

Preheat Oven to 180C (320F). Line a 8 x 8 Square tin with Aluminum Foil sheet.

In a small bowl combine all the ingredients of Cream Cheese layer and set aside.

Combine Butter, Sugars and Cocoa in a large bowl.

Beat in Eggs and Vanilla Essence.

Fold in Flour & Baking Powder.

Stir in the crushed oreo crumbs.

Pour batter in the pan.

Swirl in Cream Cheese layer.

Sprinkle Chopped Oreo Cookies & Bake for 30-35 minutes or when the cake tester is clean. 

Cool completely before cutting. 

Serve!!!

Ingredients for Brownie Layer

  • 1/2 Cup Butter melted

  • 1/2 Cup Caster Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 1/2 Cup Flour

  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder

  • 12 Oreo Cookies

  • 8 Oreo Cookies Roughly Chopped

  1. Use Room Temperature Ingredients.

  2. Discard any water present over Cream Cheese.

  3. Measure the ingredients Correctly. Follow guide lines from Baking 101 page.

  4. Removing the Cream Cheese layer will result in cakey Brownies.
